This is the second replacement Technicolor modem and the issue remains. There really needs to be a recall and mass replacement of this modem. If I come back to Shaw, can I use my modem instead of the Shaw provided one?
Solved: I am currently with a TPIA using a TC4400 modem on 750mbps plan. If you can remember, pls mention how long you’ve been using the TC4400. To the customers that have been using it, what’s your feedback on it? I know it’s fairly newer than the other modems offered so my research on reviews and resale comes to a dead end. I’m looking into switching from Shaw to Teksavvy. › shaw-s-technicolor-modem-avoid-if-at-all-possible › td-p. As it looks like the best option if I don't want to deal with. Hi, I see that the Technicolor TC4400-AM V2 is now in your list of approved modems. With that being said, I recently purchased a compatible TC4400 from a third party when it was still on the approved modem list and TekSavvy was able to provision the modem albeit with a slight delay due to the shaw issue. While TekSavvy hasn't explicitly stated this, it appears that they pulled the TC4400 from the approved modem list for the time being due to some issues that shaw was having provisioning these.
